Riley Rampley's Picture
Obtained from a granddaughter of Riley Rampley. Riley was born in
Coshocton County, Ohio in 1835, the son of James and Elizabeth Chaney
Rampley. He married Nancy Jane Newman in 1867 at her father's home in
Walker Township, Hancock County, Illinois.
Picture probably taken around 1890. Riley died in 1893 in Walker
Township, Hancock County, Illinois and is buried in the Buckeye
Cemetery, Walker Township, Hancock County, Illinois. Riley is my
great-great-grandfather. Riley has three tombstones: a
military one, an
individual one, and one with his
wife Nancy.
