These pension payment cards are NOT online, but were microfilmed by the
National Archives and are available through the National Archives as: “Veterans
Administration Pension Payment Cards, 1907-1933.” M850. 2,539
rolls. They are an excellent finding aid which I have used many times.
These cards contain other identifying information on the soldier,
including dates of payment, date of death, name of widow (if she
qualified), names of minor children, etc.
The Allen County Public Library in Ft. Wayne, Indiana has these films.
They are also available via interlibrary loan from your local Family
History Library--see
the card catalog entry.
