Been searching for your ancestors until your eyes are glazing over? Whether you're a beginning or experienced genealogist, you will add to your success by joining Michael Neill for this one-day workshop. You'll learn tips and techniques for conducting an online search, including making the most of various online search sites, using the Family History Library, and researching a 'new' relative. Basic knowledge of computers and genealogy helpful. Each participant will have a computer to use.

Spend a day with Michael Neill, a genealogist who has presented workshops throughout the Midwest, and learn how to use the more advanced features of a popular genealogy software program. Find out how to correct data errors, create books and customized reports, export and import both Family Tree Maker and non Tree Maker files, share data, create a website, and more. Feel free to submit questions to the instructor at before the class. He will incorporate them in the session as appropriate. Basic knowledge of computers and genealogy and previous exposure to Family Tree Maker helpful. Each participant will have a computer to use.
