I was hoping this record would provide some clues on the Irish origins
of Samuel's parents, Samuel and Anna Murphy Neill. It was not to be as
the mother was not even named on the death certificate. Anna Murphy
died
relatively young and it is possible that some family members did not
know
her name and they certainly were not familiar with her.
Samuel died near the home of one of his sons, approximately 80 miles
from where he lived most of his life. It always pays to search in the
immediate
areas of where all the children were living..
Samuel Edward Neill is a brother to my great-grandfather.
