Ancestry.com subscription plans
Ancestry.com today 28 (November 2006) announced it is extending free access to the most extensive immigration records collection online through the end of the year. The link below will take you to the collection. The picture below may say November 30th, but it is not right, it is December 31st.


Normal Ancestry Plans--not a part of the above promotion

Read what you are signing up for. Pay attention to the plan you are choosing and decide what you can afford. Consider using Ancestry at your local Family History Library (in LDS churches and each one has Ancestry.com access) or at your local library. Most of us get Ancestry at home because we can use it whenever (helpful if your only genealogy time is after 10:00 at night). . If you choose monthly pay attention to the date it renews. Print out all applicable subscription pages, toll-free numbers, etc. so you have them if you need them.

If you are uncertain, try the 14-day Free trial for either the Try a new Ancestry.com membership! (see details below). Mark your calendar for the thirteenth day of your trial. Then on that day, call and cancel if that is your intent. Do not wait until day 14 if you want to cancel, just in case there is some problem and you can't call, etc. Mark the 13th day of your subscription on your calendar.
