Can You Read it?


This comes from a deed

in Kentucky in the early 1800s. Hopefully it's not too hard.

That is it-Ambrose Ruckers. What is meant here is actually Ambrose Rucker's, indicating the possessive, but old records rarely use apostrophes to indicate possessive.
